Today was periodically quite stressful, but also an awful lot of people were quite nice to me today, so it kind of balances out. Among other kinds things, the nice salesperson at the bottle shop slipped me two free cans of premix vodka lemonade because their sell by date is tomorrow!

On my way home from the other side of the city, my phone touch screen decided to crash, and shortly after I realised I'd left my house keys at my point of origin. ACK! Thankfully my real estate agent is close to my house and was happy to lend me a spare set, and my phone seems to be fine after reset

I rewatched The Marvels tonight for the first time since seeing it in cinemas, and you know what? I still think it's really really fun, despite the extremely patchy world building and truck sized plot holes. Every time the Marvels are all on screen, I just want to cheer like Kamala.

I discovered this ancient safe money box from Smiggle in a long unopened box, and I know it has stuff in there I want to extract but dammed if I can remember the combination. I had a go at brute force jiggling the lock, but it's surprisingly sturdy.
