Manages herds of paper cats at DC Comics. Not currently haunted by anything but I remain optimistic that this could be my year. Opinions are my own & only meant to represent myself.
Today I am grateful I live on the West Coast so that I could watch the Survivor finale without a feral incoherent man interrupting it for no reason. And I saw my first political ad for the CA governor race and it was kinda cute instead of rage-inducing, somehow.

Wrote to political reps about the bullshit trans healthcare bill even though they generally vote the way I’d like anyways. I try e-mail them all about at least two issues a day. Then I throw in a request to impeach whoever is making me angriest today. As a treat.

apparently about five million people, most of whom presumably don't give a shit about any of this, had the survivor finale interrupted for it
one upside of trump insisting on a "presidential address" is it interrupted programming on every major broadcast network. so a whole bunch of normies who only see sanitized versions of
him were treated to live video of a rabid fucking hyena behind the presidential seal.

All I ever knew of Rob Reiner was what was presented before me as an audience member and it was clear to me he loved art and he loved America and he worked with a righteous fury everyday to make both of them better from a place of great love. He was the best of us. I’m devastated.

The cultural impact of Rob Reiner cannot be understated. Legend isn't big enough a word. It goes to 11. You can't handle the truth. As you wish. I'll have what she's having. I'm your number one fan. You guys wanna see a dead body? The very idea of a bucket list. The West Wing.

All from his movies.

He's also responsible for raising all the money that paid for bringing Hollingsworth v. Perry & even more importantly Bostic v. Schaefer, which created the circuit split that forced SCOTUS to take on Obergefell v. Hodges. The role he played in American marriage equality cannot be overstated.

🚨 Today, I formally introduced articles of impeachment against Robert F. Kennedy, Jr.

RFK Jr. has turned his back on science and the safety of the American people. Michiganders cannot take another day of his chaos.

Pneumonia has hit me hard. Over the past two months, I've lost almost $20k of work, and by the time we get to January, I'll only have three projects left.
Editors/writers/artists/publishers: if you're staffing new projects over the coming months, PLEASE keep me in mind as your letterer 🙏

Brad showed up to (and spoke at) multiple @hcpunion.bsky.social rallies during the strike and backed us 100%. A true mensch!
I've probably photographed Brad Lander more than any other elected in NYC because the dude shows up. He's everywhere, he's incredibly accessible, and he genuinely loves New Yorkers. You can literally go up and talk to him whenever he shows up. Go ahead, try it!

Pretty baffled whenever these types of stories come out how little we hear from elected officials representing LA as they appear on panels at public events trying to convince us that the economic benefits of hosting megaevents outweighs the risk
Foreign tourists could be required to disclose 5 years of social media histories under Trump administration plan
The Customs and Border Protection proposal would apply even to countries that don't require visas to enter.

I still don’t understand how he still had a job after Signalgate.
From Signalgate to murdering people off the coast of Venezuela, Secretary Hegseth is putting our troops at risk and breaking international law.

Any junior officer would have been fired for this kind of reckless incompetence. He should resign or be fired. bit.ly/444D3mm

This is some serious North Korea style dictator work by the Trump admin. Can't imagine it'll stop with Visa applicants. Trump wants just one truth- his truth- and anyone who calls out his lies is a target.
Holy shit.

Reuters reporting that new admin instructions on visas are if you worked at a platform in trust & safety or content moderation or on fact checking or online safety at an platform you *and your loved ones* are ineligible for H-1B visa.
