I'm small beans but I chose to diversify. I brought in Canadian & European suppliers & elimanated all but 1 American supplier & when I find a suitable replacement, they will be gone as well. It took some effort but it was worth it. I know a lot of small businesses doing the same.
When Mark Carney sets specific goals for Canada to "diversify away" from its reliance on the US—making headlines in Canada but not the US—hear that for what it is: Close partners and allies looking elsewhere for better friends.
