Just remembered a comic I made ages ago about an illustrator and a writer who are working on book ideas and trying to get published. Here's a chunk of one of the episodes.

Duck and Bear Episode 3: Killing Darlings

Bear is silently reading a script in a series of panels.
D: What do you think?
D: You don't like it do you?
D: What?! Is it the main characters? Tell me!
Bear holds up one finger.
D: One...?
D: Oh!
D: You meant that it would be...
D: better with one main character.
D: But do you like it other than that?
Bear nods and grunts.
Large panel: "Several weeks pass by" and arrows indicate night into day and day into night.
On one side of the panel Duck in medieval armour apologizes as she readies herself to fire a cannon at some characters as they run through a battlefield. On the other side of the panel she weeps at a computer and drawings of two of her three main characters pinned to a board have been crossed out in red. Paper overflows from a waste basket.

Seeing them in Tokyo would be amazing. I hadn't heard of this until now and would settle for seeing them ride past on ebikes. They are certainly getting the London experience.

London is proud to host Japan's Grand Sumo Tournament this week - it's fantastic to see the the teams using our cycling infrastructure to get around.

I'd love to see the Green party get more members than the Reform party. It would be a real sign of hope. They should pass the Conservatives fairly soon anyway.

ANYWAY the test deck has arrived and it's BEAUTIFUL. the white on the logo will be silver foil (they don't silver foil the test deck in case you decide to alter it - the dies to silver foil cost £70ish to make). The cards are exactly the same as before & feel great. very excited! #tarot #tarotsky

My friend Sascha is a professional musician and he's lost a viola bow on the way to Heathrow. Please signal boost to help him get it back.

Lost viola bow on the way from Honor Oak Station to Heathrow Terminal 2. The bow slid from its bow case somewhere along the way, possibly on the train. TFL contacted already.
It weighs 68.2 grams and has got a stamped DODD next to the frog. If any info on this, please pm me.

Portland protesters are being very creative, funny and brave. I'm tempted to post a thread but I know that a lot of non-USA people like me are getting overwhelmed by USA news. I'll just recommend searching for Portland on here to see the dancing frog and the chicken smoking a cigarette.
