Plus Oscar Isaac perfectly cast as a damaged and obsessed man who decided to defy God due to his childhood trauma, he had some truly villainous moments but didn't feel irredeemable IMO!

Your assessment was spot on! Yes, there were some changes, but all in service of a very GDT-esque feel and much as I'm leery of Netflix at times he defo benefited from all the cash they gave him on screen - absolutely sumptuous set/costume design and some incredible visual motifs 👌

I remember watching a low quality rip of this song on YouTube in 2006, before a Japanese Studies class at University, and absolutely losing my mind at the 4-minute (and INCREDIBLE) guitar solo duel they added into the middle. Do yourself a favour and listen to it!

My entire trip there was like a big warm hug (despite the massive snow drifts) and I want to go back so badly!

Am I enjoying myself? No, not at all. Then why am I doing it? Because every enemy in Act 3 appears to hit 200% harder and I will die very quickly if I don't upgrade the needle again. But that said, I am very close to my breaking point of absolutely rage-quitting this game 🤬

I just got 64 FUCKING SECONDS on Flea Dodge. I needed 66 to win and never have to do this minigame ever again.

I have never in my life felt the desire to flame a game developer, not once.

These flea minigames in Silksong are pushing me to the absolute brink. This is actual sadism and I am ENRAGED.
