Mostly an Arsenal account, but gets dragged into politics because the world is batshit-crazy.

US puts £31bn tech ‘prosperity deal’ with Britain on ice.

Trump doesn't honour agreements. It's about dominance.

Demands that UK ends digital services tax on US tech companies and it's food safety rules which bar certain US agricultural products.

Say NO to Trump slavery. Better off joining the EU

So, Trump sues the BBC for $5Bn and puts the technology deal with the UK on hold until the US gets more concessions.
Anyone still deluding themselves about that “special relationship”? No. Just the tedious parade of simpering MAGA dickheads - led, of course, by the traitorous Farage.

Looking back on Saturday’s game, I think the concern over our performance has meant the decision not to send Hwang Lee-Chan off is almost forgotten. It’s a different game if the correct decision is made. VAR saying he was pulling out of the challenge was utter bollocks.

Why do I wear an N95 mask?
Bc Covid will happily destroy your immune system, more each time you get it. It can give you a whole new syndrome and/or awaken & worsen dormant viruses+syndromes.
You do not want a mystery disease like my loved one has now. Our system does not know what to do with you.

I think we're seeing the effects of a defensive injury crisis layering on top of an attacking one that's still not truly subsided.

We've got new combinations, lack of understanding, players in the red zone, players fighting to regain match fitness... all a recipe for disjointedness.

Really can’t afford to shit the bed at home to a team that’s lost 8 on the bounce.

4 mins added time is a pisstake. 3 head injuries, a hamstring strain & substitution & the GK taking an age over goal kicks since the 12th minute. If that situation occurs in the 2nd half it gets double that.

Astonishingly good result given the number of players out injured. And a couple of banging goals to boot!

Not sure about the 17 yr old defender… so far he looks like a fish out of water

… he should have a good leap on him though

Arsenal lost that game because they're missing THREE centerbacks.

Don't think either goal happens with Gabriel and Saliba on the pitch.

Meanwhile Rice still hasn’t been awarded a free kick in the PL literally all season.
Imagine having to sub a player for fear of a red when that player has committed 2 ‘fouls’… one of which won the ball and the other where he pulled out of a challenge. Ffs, the way we’re reffed is wild.

Basically a top 4 side out. More than anything else this is what gives me hope for the title. Previously we’ve had a drop off when players are out injured & fallen away… this season we are where already despite the injuries. We’re currently at our floor.
Players who didn’t start XI:

Kepa
Timber
Saliba
Gabriel
MLS
Norgaard
Havertz
Eze
Saka
Trossard
Gyokeres

That’s an XI that could beat most teams in the league.

The hate-watch after our final whistle is considerably less stressful than our 90 mins!! 🤣

Caicedo also rolled around ‘injured’ after this one in Sarr, which VAR didn’t recommend for review.

Must be nice to get credit for youth! Massive shout-out to Chelsea (man down, plucky upstarts). Meanwhile, our ENTIRE back four were younger and our CBs had never played together. Did that warrant a mention? No? Alright cool.

If the Venezuelan sailors were enemy combatants, then the 2nd strike is a war crime.

If the Venezuelan sailors weren’t enemy combatants, then both strikes are criminal murder.

It’s that simple.

1st time I think we’ve been outplayed in large spells in the league all season. No strikers & both CBs out, no Trossard & Ode not fit to start. Taylor doing his absolute best to screw us over, away to 2nd in the league, after a massive 3 game week… & still 5 clear at the top. Can’t really complain.

An excellent point -- want to emphasize how much the early yellows to all the defenders and Zubimendi forced Arsenal to play more conservatively.

Arsenal rely on their defenders to win 1-v-1 duels to commit numbers forward. Without the two CBs and all the yellows, it's tough to do that.
The combination of missing both CBs and the flurry of early yellows meant a much more cautious Arsenal than you'd like, especially when playing against 10, but it's understandable.

Throw in a few players not really being at it and a point isn't great but it's ok.

To me, that yellow card disparity reveals a substantial, game-affecting difference in how the two sides were officiated.
Chelsea committed 12 fouls, Arsenal 13.

Chelsea got one yellow and one red. Arsenal got six yellows!
