The only bipartisanship I support is bipartisan opposition to MAGA.

Proud "scumbag commie lib" who doesn't engage Nazis.

To anyone who says we shouldn't be pressuring Democratic members of congress to fight, I only have this to say - the oath they took did not say "...to protect and defend the Constitution the next time we're in the majority."
I also think supporting violent fascists at arm’s length, just enough to provide yourself implausible deniability, helping you lie to yourself at night when you try to sleep on your ketamine-free nights, qualifies you as a Nazi and a fascist.
What should be the punishment for giving the Hitler salute?

Disgusted to hear of the targeted shooting of National Guard members in DC today. All Americans should unite in condemning and rejecting this violence. Sending prayers to these victims and their families, and thankful to the responders who acted so quickly.

With the tragic news out of CO last night on the loss of Senator Winter, I’m wishing everyone a peaceful and safe Thanksgiving with family and friends.

She was a brilliant fighter, taken way too soon. Love to her family.

Hold all who are dear a little tighter today.

I think we can safely say he’s just the most corrupt president in US history.

I would think it’s nearly impossible to even be this privately corrupt.
NEWS --> BBC confirms to me that they did edit a line out of historian @rutgerbregman.com's speech. It called Trump "the most openly corrupt president in US history."

BBC also confirms this was done on the advice of lawyers. So Trump's threats worked.

Trump’s Fury at BBC Gets Unnerving Results with Pro-MAGA Edit Stunner
First, British Broadcasting Corporation execs resigned after Trump complained about a segment. Now the BBC edited out a line from a historian that was critical of Trump. Where does this end?

Well, it relies on members of his party honoring their oath and exercise the tools the Constitution provides them.

The Constitution isn’t the problem. The Republican Party is the problem. We could draft a better constitution, but if the party in power chooses to ignore it…
“The Constitution is not adequate to deal with a President as evil as Trump.”

I wish we lived in a world where the worst we could say about the Republican Party is that it’s extremely dysfunctional.
Resignations could cost the GOP the House before the midterms, something that almost never happens. Majorities only collapse like this when a party is in a full-blown meltdown, and it has only happened a few times in modern history during periods of extreme dysfunction.

They treat it as any other service subject to natural market forces.

The problem is the market simply asks “what is this worth to you?”

It is fundamentally immoral to ask someone what their life is worth to them.

They will never acknowledge that health care is a human right — to be guaranteed to ALL.
