It’s only a tax if it is cultivated in the Tax Region of Bessent’s butt.

Look, if you’re going to go all big calling an asshole a saint people are going to point out he was an asshole actually.

Vance: "Political violence, it's just a statistical fact that it's a bigger problem on the left. If you had, god forbid, somebody on the left who was assassinated, I'm sure you could find one person who would maybe celebrate it, but the fact that it became mainstream to celebrate Charlie's death..."

Yup. It’s completely a jumble, I have no idea what they were thinking.

I wish upon this guy that the cattiest queen in the country throws their martini in his face at every future cocktail party he attends. Gay Purgatory.

No one can even keep a straight face here about the most basic Christian doctrine.

ERIKA KIRK: He did pray for his enemies, which is very hard, but he did

TRUMP: *shit-eating grin, shrugs*

ERIKA KIRK: I saw him do it

“Nancy Pelosi thinks we should have more Nazis” listen to yourself man. These people are such bad faith losers.

I did not mess with the skin tones at all tbc. They just match that well.

You know, if I were at all worried about the public perceiving me as a non-neutral arbiter of disputes, the last thing I would do is appear on Fox News to promote myself and my work. Really decisive evidence imo that Barrett is a bad faith operator, and not simply a self-deluded fool.

I rewatched this commercial and I have to say, even as someone who has a pretty bad relationship with their sibling, the mistake they made here was pitching coffee this way to a bunch of irony poisoned young Americans. Rare situation where our brains are broken, not theirs.

Ok @marquisdan.midwestspeedfest.com I’m enjoying the FFtactics remaster but what on earth were they thinking with the wholesale redesign of the party roster UI? And specifically, how on earth could you get rid of the job wheel?!?

It’s starting to work, at least somewhat. That leadership knew this would be a good issue and understood there was something unique about the scope and magnitude of it, even in the midst of Trump’s fire hose of shit, should be discrediting to a lot of big accounts on here who just criticize Dems.

I still don’t know how the shutdown is going to play out, but: Dem leadership saw a massive incoming issue (health insurance premiums skyrocketing) that most people on this website didn’t grasp (including me) and seized on it and are doing yeoman’s work now to publicize it, and…

Example of the more remote and long term damage Trump is doing: he makes idiots like this guy ask this kind of question. Lots of Dems will think this way! They are likely to coalesce around a candidate like Newsom and it will be a more pronounced fissure in the party going forward.

DANIELS: Should the next Democratic president be a little bit more involved with the DOJ than Democrats have been in the past?

KAMALA HARRIS: No president should think of the DOJ as being their personal attorney

He’s not actually sad about it though. He’s laughing all the way to the bank, if anyone ever was.

Yeah it’s his implicit acknowledgment that he doesn’t believe in any of this “religion” bullshit.

Sorry but the unwashed masses can easily comprehend a note from the court that says “we have not reached a final conclusion about x, but here are the reasons for this decision.” Weasel shit from Barrett. This is not controversial - Judges should have to explain the reasons for their decisions!

This is infuriating. She excuses the orders as "preliminary," but that's an argument for applying settled law or preserving the status quo. Allowing POTUS to disregard Congressional appropriations and fire independent agency heads are neither, they're a radical restructuring of Constitutional order.

Amy Coney Barrett defends heavy use of the shadow docket: "If we wrote a long opinion, it might give the impression that we have finally resolved the issue, and in none of these cases have we finally resolved the issue."

Oh. Well. Phew! Thank god for that.
