As Bluesky has grown, I've seen a lot of backsliding on alt text. Please try to be considerate to others and include alt text with all of your images. It helps everyone. Indeed, in the "accessibility" setting in Bluesky you can set it to make sure you add alt text, which is a useful thing to do.

Stopped at Lokum in Santa Barbara, finally. Halvah was actually made there. In the states. It was fresh. I don’t even know how to explain how rare or unusual this is. I’m not even a big halvah person, I just think a little every once in a while is nice.

I was never an advocate for being able to edit social media posts or messages after the fact. It just seemed ripe for misuse and not necessary…
After having the ability to edit a post on Slack, Mastodon, even Messages… I’m now on team edits-allowed (as long as changes are tracked).
