Check out this Stunning Cosmos flower that I saw a Few days ago while Wondering Around My neighbourhood,
Captured on a Canon EOS R50

Beneath a stormy looking sky the sandy beach glows in a patch of sunlight. The sand leads down to the choppy, turquoise and dark green waters of Loch Dunvegan (a sea loch).
The dazzling white ‘sand’ of Claigan Coral Beach, that can be seen in many photos, is in fact not sand. It’s also not coral. It’s formed by the deposit of small pieces of ‘coralline’ hard seaweed called maerl that is crushed by wave action, dried and sun bleached on the shore.

This is an important habitat the Maerl beds are purply-pink when alive. They are a marine nature conservation priority in Scottish waters as they are an important habitat for small marine plants and animals including young scallops.

It wasn't a promising day for photography... then I saw this 🌞

Facing South the choppy waters of Embleton Bay stretch towards the horizon. The bay is dotted by rocky islets. On the horizon the silhouette of the ruined castle stand out against the gloomy clouds that nearly fill the sky. Small breaks in the clouds cast enough light to give depth and texture to the picture.
This was shot on a Canon EOS 350D.... it's 8 Mega Pixels are doing a lot of work !
