As a person with PTSD from witnessing a shooting murder: News outlets *autoplaying* mass shooting footage on social media without CWs are doing so much harm. We have consumed so violent content that’s deeply corrosive to the brain. It’s our responsibility to ensure we disseminate it appropriately.

I was running into trouble getting my MMR. I’m like… 90% sure I got it as a child because I’m almost sure I needed it to go to college. For context, I’m near a county that recently had a measles outbreak

If you are worried this is too big an executive function barrier you can go to a pharmacy and they will probably just jab you. That is what I did.
I'm not saying it's necessarily the right way to do this, that is just how much I am not fucking around with the measles

Go to your doctor and get your measles titers checked to make sure you are still immune and if not get re-vaccinated. It’s more and more likely all of us are going to eventually come in contact with it.
