In the 70s, Sharp had a series of "Latte case" boomboxes; as the line went on, more and more got put into it, like TVs. One of the last in the line was the RatecaPuter - a latte-case boombox with a 2KB computer that could run SHARP Basic programs off of the built in tape deck.

I'm glad that Metal Gear Solid 4 is going to be made available to more people, though I'm guessing the install experience won't be available. At least we have Metal Gear Scanlon to remind us of what that was like in its "fixed" form.

I've owned Paranormasight 1 for like... two years. And I've never booted it up because I have a problem! But today't announcement finally spurred me to get started and, wow, that game rules from nearly the moment go! Looking forward to seeing the whole thing through.

Holy cow! Kyoto Xanadu actually has a reference to Computer Land Tachikawa, the PC store that Falcom operated when they were first established in the 80s. They even look the similar.
