Duchess Satine Kryze’s headdress is ethereal. It exists in this not-quite-solid space. The shells seem caught between organic and decorative states, unfurling in a petal-like disk around her face that shouldn’t work… but does.

Genuinely love how the TROS extended novelization doesn’t whitewash or ignore Unkar Plutt. Even though he’s the past, Rey wouldn’t be Rey without years of Plutt’s daily threats and gross negligence. That doesn’t make her weak. It makes her a character with a foundation that’s well-written

I’ve had that convo… but I’ve also had the convo with immigrants and realized , they really don’t talk to Black Americans and don’t understand how bad it actually is and has been in America
Multiple times this year I’ve had coffee with fellow immigrants who grew up in corrupt third world countries and the shared sentiment has been that Americans don’t understand how bad things are going to get.

Acolyte was actually pretty good.
Some of the best saber fights on film, and the theme of the Jedi making their own villains is strong.
The best part is you can see how the dark side is already beginning to cloud them, as Yoda would say.
