Appreciate that this piece emphasizes how the hivemind in Pluribus *cannot sustain itself and yet still wants to absorb Carol*. The hivemind can insist they're happy and filled with joy, but there's grotesquerie in their drive to consume.

We expect more out of parents than we did 200, 100, or even 50 years ago (which is good!). Both parents are expected to be emotionally engaged with all of their children and actively participating in their lives. My taciturn, emotionally locked-down grandpa couldn't have raised 6+ kids that way.

Yet another example of the Google AI shit being bad. The Dodgers signed Andy Ibañez today; the corresponding move was to DFA Ryan Fitzgerald. But the team announced they had DFAed Tyler Fitzgerald, who is on the Giants. That mistake made its way into the AP story AND the Google AI summary.

Just saw this story and seeing there were two other NBA teams in town mostly explains it for me. I'm guessing that, specifically, HOU couldn't find accommodations *up to contractual standards*.
One note here from Sac: Rockets have had an *interesting* travel day. Hotels were all booked (Lakers and Knicks also staying in town tonight) so they drove up from SF and are flying home right after game. At end of long trip and after tonight will have played 23 of 36 on road, sooooo .... we'll see.

Soba noodles made with 100% buckwheat—you probably need to go somewhere like H-Mart or a Japanese grocer—are packed with both fiber and a surprising amount of life-giving protein, so they're a sort of lentils-like cheat code, and go great with high-protein tofu. Top with protein powder for GAINS.
