this is a big reason why I am a huge proponent of writing and even playing trash.

Like...there's so many TTRPGs that sell themselves on light floofiness and progressiveness and inclusiveness, then you open it up and it's just "you meet 2d6 orcs worth 25 XP each" D&D shit again.
