On 11th Nov 2008 I was supporting observations at CSIRO's Australia Telescope Compact Array (ATCA). After a long day I walked from the control building to the lodge and saw a beautiful moon halo. I run to my room and grabbed camera (CANON EOS 400D, the digital camera I got as a gift from my IAC colleagues when completed my PhD) and tripod and looked for a nice position with one of the ATCA antennae (Nº 3 in this case). The halo didn't fit within a single exposure, so I took several images and merged them in a single final exposure.

Era un día que estaba muy cansado, pero al salir de la sala de control del interferómetro ATCA (Narrabri, NSW, Australia) me encontré con un precioso halo alrededor de la luna, casi en fase llena. Corrí a mi cuarto, cogí la cámara y el trípode, busqué una buena localización, y aquí tenéis uno de los resultados (tengo más por ahí). Fue el 11 de noviembre de 2008. Son dos imágenes acopladas. Bc we ARE making the content for ourselves but it feels /bad/ when people don’t engage or show interest. You can care about both at the same time
