The last two months or so have been a repeating sequence of getting distracted from art by yet another deep dive into an open-source software alternative because the arbiters of modern technology are in a ready-player-one-esque race where the prize is the most hellish torment nexus and I want out

I feel like not enough people ask themselves what they're hoping to get out of making a post

Venturing into setting up my own Jellyfin media server has been fun like yeah I can have my movies and anime and stream it from anywhere but also my music too and *also* my ebooks?? Jellyfin can display epubs and I can just read all my kobo books on my phone anywhere if I don't have my kobo with me

I need to figure out good noise suppression options for recording voice on linux because I've re-recorded myself doing this CSP on Linux thing a few times but I just haven't been happy with any of the takes

This has been a year
A stressful upsetting noisy anxiety-ridden year where I know I've not been nor shown anything resembling my best
I wish I could say next year will be better but at this point I think we all know what's a lot to hope for
