To be frank about it, if the court does what the court will almost certainly do, there's probably no way to oust reactionaries from power without a struggle to restore voting rights that could last a generation and change. Just like last time around.

NEW — I dug into the story of ICE abducting a 13-year-old boy in Massachusetts and moving him 500 miles across state lines without notifying his mother, local cop's complicity, and how the federal government's justification for such cruelty is already falling apart:

ICE took a 13-year-old they said had a gun. Local cops say he didn’t.

Now he's detained 500 miles away from his Massachusetts home.

One thing I lament about living where I do is that precisely NONE of the supermarket bakeries near me carry pumpkin chocolate chip cookies for when I am lazy and don't have the time to bake them myself.
