She'll make claims so insulting or absurdly false or dumb that I cannot tell if she just has total contempt for her constituents to think we'd buy it, or if she's just completely incompetent and actually believes the nonsense she spews (e.g. "I voted for the SAVE act *because* it was a bad law!")

The federal government is shut down with no end in sight as the GOP have basically dissolved Congress until further notice, and the president is acting like he can do whatever he wants with the money.

This has been bothering me all day because the obvious point of No Kings is to show we have the power to do a color revolution if they don‘t honor the results of future elections.

The other point is to radicalize fence-sitters by having people who are *clearly doing nothing wrong* be tear gassed

This is exactly backwards, the no kings protests are a mass movement of regular people that have every republican politician in the country raging about "hate America rallies," and the online protest industry weirdos who say shit like "radlib" to each other are the ones skimming off the top of them

Admining anything Microsoft is a fucking nightmare. Their own documentation is reliably at least a few months out of date (often it's YEARS), so good luck figuring out where they hid that setting now or what they've renamed that feature to.

It is continously bewildering to me that Microsoft still exists as company as each year they seem less capable of making anything that works *at all*. A probably-illegal monopoly is basically all that keeps them from being crushed under the weight of their many incompetent code-sins...

In reality, it seems that Microsoft and Asus didn’t actually ship their units to stores with that version of Windows installed — or necessary BIOS updates, graphics drivers, and more. Reviewers like me spent hours and multiple reboots waiting for those updates to install before we could play a single game; even after I was done, I still couldn’t navigate Windows without some smudging of the touchscreen and fighting with the gamepad controls.
