I live in a (alas pretty ugly) 100 year old (or so) house that has been turned into 4 flats
It was that big because in mountain villages at that time, sheep, cows, hens aso became roommates in winter (providing appreciable secondary heating 👍)
Why would we even discuss this?
What’s the point of “de-extincting” any species while we’re not addressing the current mass extinction?

Could be telling Irish people they need to be UK citizens is a bit touchy
Laughing like a drain!

Starmer’s digital ID scheme isn’t compatible with the common travel area.

Wouldn’t it be lovely to have a competent PM?

This video from Portland is a metaphor for what is going on in America. ICE trying so hard to get Americans to cross a line and if they don't, dragging them across the line and violently attacking.

Powerful anti-vaccine advocates and people selling potentially harmful goods such as raw milk are benefitting – financially and otherwise – from the push to write anti-science policies into law across the U.S.
Who benefits from the MAHA anti-science push?

Erm, no. No this policy does not need "clarification". It needs condemnation. They have been pretty clear what they want, the mass deportation of people living and working here, families ripped apart, and xenophobia and racism embedded further as government policy

Side note, this sums up the immigration hysteria so brilliantly

Worth a read
Bottom line we all need a sense of community
Doesn’t necessarily has to be rooted in hate of others
“Immigrants are the scapegoats they need. Everyone else just needs some humanity and help. Otherwise, we will remain strangers in a strange land -foreign to ourselves and to each other.”
🔴 How Our Politicians Created an 'Island of Strangers' So They Don't Have to Make Our Lives Any Better

"By vowing to tackle our 'island of strangers' through immigration, Starmer keeps us trapped on it – by not offering solutions to the real reasons for our estrangement" @hardeepmatharu.bsky.social
How Our Politicians Created an ‘Island of Strangers’ So They Don’t Have to Make Our Lives Any Better
By presenting tougher immigration as a solution to people’s discontent, Keir Starmer and others sidestep the real reasons why people feel estranged in their lives – it’s a cynical and simplistic polit...

Exactly a year ago, all our hopes for GD to peacefully transfer power to democratic forces have collapsed. GD rigged the elections and stole the people’s will. A month later, they halted EU-talks.

That day, Georgians flooded the streets and never went home. Today, a mass rally is taking place.
imo red definitively has the edge on blonde - but hey fine if that’s just me -

Oh my
Guess it’s not that hard to get why
And at the same time, not exactly limited to Reuters, is it
Now if someone could direct me to this magical national TV channel that would
1/ Know that Plaid Cymru exists
2/ Actually platform the winning side
I'm a translator and honestly I'm having a hard time to translate this into "Plaid Cymru won by a landslide"
Guess if Wales gets independence, @reuters.com's headline will be "Something about Reform UK"
Amazing
"It drives me mad when I see political speeches full of hatred, full of thirst for discrimination..."
"Love, that's sweet, but you're not gonna get any headline with that"

“Very sorry I did not express my racist views in a more subtle way”
… is still ground for dismissal
Not endorsement
And yet
Reform MP Sarah Pochin: “It drives me mad when I see adverts full of black people, full of Asian people, full of people who are anything other than white.”

Today on the BBC, Tory spokesperson Chris Philp: “I’m not going to call her that word. I'm not calling her racist.”

The real Uni-Party.
Given the price, they'd better be hand-sewed by a pure Brit whose heritage goes straight back to the 11th century
-Although no wait that could mean French heritage 😱-

Joke aside, pretty sure Reform has its own VIP lane, ideal to get shitty products for a great overprice
