Detroit Lake,Oregon
Hiking with my brother in Detroit Lake, Oregon a year ago we came across several of these beautiful California Sister butterflies hanging out on a bunch of these flowers that resemble lots of little daisies, yellow center and white petals (they might be Fleabane). Some grass behind the rocks that the flowers are growing in, beyond that trees to the left and you can barely see Mount Jefferson (aka Seekseekqua by Native American populations) in the top right corner

Pimpelmees blijft het verdacht vinden dat zijn gangen zo worden gevolgd. Kan ook zijn dat ie bang is dat ook ik dol op pinda's ben, wat klopt trouwens op de weg naar de tuin fiets ik langs deze Callicarpa, oftewel Schoonvrucht. Is geen betere naam voor toch? de Merel is er dol op, de Zwartkop ook áls die er nog is, zou heel goed kunnen! en bij de verlaten Lepelaarskolonie, staat deze Gelderse roos, ieder jaar mooier en de besjes worden de komende maanden lekkerder, speciaal voor de Zanglijster heb ik 'm ook in de tuin geplant, maar zo mooi als deze is die nog lang niet . Opnieuw heeft de Zwartkop de weinige bessen bij mij al gestolen Klein uurtje geleden vanuit mijn raam✨

A narrow, wooden bridge over a narrow canal in a forest. The posts and railing are white, counterweights and metal fixings a bright blue. Although the trees are still green, there are plenty of fallen leaves on the ground. Everything is soaking wet. As was I.
