An Abraham Darby rose discovered blooming amongst the herbs 🌱🌹
In a bowl of water with parsley, sage and rosemary is a single Abraham Darby rose. So many petals and a lovely color of mixed pink tinged with gold on this David Austin rose. It’s a standout in every bouquet. The perfume of the rose wafts generously through the string just cut herb fragrances which is unusual and a bit of fun I think. I love the contrast of the rose on the counter next to a large roasting pan.

When winter arrives. A snowstorm is forecast so I'd thought I'd share this view of the Miami-Erie Canal, now abandoned. Captured near Grand Rapids, OH in February of 2021. I'd rather cling to Fall than rush Winter, but I seem to have no say in the matter. #nature #snow #hiking #sunset
