I took this picture standing under a big linden / lime tree on a sunny summer day, the indirect warm sunlight is illuminating the yellow lime flowers and the slightly heart shaped green leaves and their lines beautifully. Some warm light spots that are shining through here and there add some extra light. There was a wonderful concert of a lot of busy bees humming while collecting the great lime flowers pollen. Did you know that linden / lime flower tea helps reduce nervousness, tension, and mild anxiety states? Linden tea is among the most popular relaxing herbal teas. It is also traditionally used to help with colds and fevers, as it can induce sweating, and is rich in antioxidants.
