A man, with a cane walks between high, brick walls. It's a narrow passage way, the only softness is provided by tree branches vaulting over the wall. It's refuge from the throngs of vacationers streaming through Venice: A non-stop invasion that let to a significant backlash against and subsequent reduction of cruise ships. As I see this man, I feel a little guilt that I've intruded upon his peaceful oasis.
