Here’s Adobe’s AI tool suggesting I not read my own novelette bcuz it’s too long. The central purpose of many of these gimmicky AI tools is saving users time, which doesn’t get at the actual problem: that we’re so crushed by the weight of capitalism that we lack time for meaningful pursuits.

"The filmmaker with no visual skill, or access to a set, or to a camera, or to actors, but with an idea," Andreessen said on Friday. "It's going to start with shorts and animated things and so forth, but it's going to work its way up to full movies."

Morrison invoking AI alike to "God" indicates a severe misunderstanding of how AI appropriates the work of thousands, including their own, and someone needs to rectify their understanding ASAP.

But also it's a severe disservice to their colleagues anyway to use it and justify it like this.
