I almost want to laugh at how absurd the points are for selling this (because they're getting more ridiculous and desperate), but I can't because too many people are being misled by the baloney.

Answer is no, this plagiarism machine is not more valuable than a professor.

Wow. Just wow.

“The Defense Department has confiscated the badges of the Pentagon reporters from virtually every major media organization in America,” the Pentagon Press Association said

Oct. 15, 2025
PENTAGON PRESS ASSOCIATION
STATEMENT
Today, the Defense Department confiscated the badges of the Pentagon reporters from virtually every major media organization in America. It did this because reporters would not sign onto a new media policy over its implicit threat of criminalizing national security reporting and exposing those who sign it to potential prosecution.
The Pentagon Press Association's members are still committed to reporting on the U.S. military. But make no mistake, today, Oct. 15, 2025 is a dark day for press freedom that raises concerns about a weakening U.S. commitment to transparency in governance, to public accountability at the Pentagon and to free speech for all.

now the Court is spinning a giant wheel of racist excuses to kill off the Voting Rights Act

idk which one it'll land on, but they all have the same intended result: forcing people of color out of the political process, leaving a government by and for white people

The Conservative Justices Have So Many Ideas For How to Kill the Voting Rights Act
The Republican justices already know where they’re going. They just have to figure out which route they’re going to take to get there.

my main takeaways from listening to the Supreme Court oral argument today are

-the writing is on the wall for the Voting Rights Act
-the Republican justices are now throwing racist spaghetti at that wall; they'll pass of whatever sticks as the opinion's rationale

Honestly, I wonder who made the terrible decision on Skeletor by casting him; I'd fight them. Leto doesn't have the dark, campy comedic chops to make that role work, plus he's a terrible human. (I think I said that on my post at the other place, but not here.)

It's unsurprising but so funny that the lesson they're taking here is "Tron" is the problem, and not that everyone fucking hates Jared Leto
rosepetals1984.bsky.social
I predict he's going to be a terrible Skeletor also. (Main reason I'm not seeing that He-Man flick.)

Don't cast Jared Leto to lead a franchise. (Or anything, actually.)

I think there are things about the TRON franchise that work. They don't always know what to do with it.

Once again: this is also happening in DC. Still.

It feels like we’ve been forgotten, maybe because there aren’t huge confrontations to run photos of. But our neighbors are still being taken every day. Routine traffic stops are now done by 12+ feds alongside local police.

Please talk about us too.

This and the Palestinian hostages are always referred to as anything but, despite returning with signs of psychological and physical torture, missing limbs and eyes… they’re just “Palestinians” or “prisoners.”
leftistlawyer.com
I think what's bothering me about all these statements I'm seeing from politicians that are variations of "Israeli hostages and Palestinians are returning to their homes, yay" is that Israelis are returning to their homes and Palestinians are returning to uninhabitable post apocalyptic rubble.
