The government says it is “driving forward private finance efforts for Gaza's reconstruction.”

As if enabling a genocide wasn't enough. Now, they are allowing private companies to make some money out of it as well.

Have they no shame?

Today I spoke at the RMT demo against the threat of deportation of hundreds of rail workers - some in just a few weeks.

The Government’s rushed visa changes reclassified which jobs count as “skilled,” with no consultation or vote.

It’s wrong, cruel, and must be dropped.

I will cut adrift—I will sit on pavements and drink coffee—I will dream; I will take my mind out of its iron cage and let it swim—this fine October.

#Workinprogress inspired by #dadaism

Dadaism is an art movement that emerged in the early 20th century as a reaction to the horrors of World War I, emphasizing absurdity, irrationality, and anti-establishment sentiments.

Just overheard two young lads, 9 or 10 years old I reckon, talking about sciencey stuff. "I don't think people realise how big infinity is, it's at least four times as big as from here to Carlisle" and now that is my standard for measuring really big things

Press launch of Chiltern Railways new trains today, I’m riding this one to Brum: 13 of these excellent Mk5 trains are replacing 5 current Mk3 sets = 12,000 more seats per week (I should even see some from my local station, Haddenham, where a Mk3 set is a very rare treat!)

The Spectator (owned by GBNews owner Paul Marshall - estimated wealth of £800 million) doesn’t like taxing wealth fairly.

I wonder how they got to this editorial decision?

Let’s tax wealth fairly, fund front line services & make hope normal again.
