I remember back in 2010 when the giants were in the World Series on Halloween, with their iconic black and orange colors, and people listening to the game on radio speakers with their kids as they trick or treated. It was epic. Such a fun vibe all over the Bay Area.

I heard from two friends yesterday who got their first notices of rising premiums on their ACA plans. One person turns 65 in early 2026 and is relieved she won’t have to pay that extra $1K a month. Another friend reports her premium is going to triple (to cover herself and spouse, both under 65).

I’m a native Californian, a lifelong democrat, and I love my state. I’m disgusted that my governor is throwing trans people under the bus. He is simply unwilling to look in the mirror and face his own transphobic bias. His statements have no basis in facts, just his own personal prejudice. He sucks.
