This is a masterclass in repeating carefully workshopped robotic talking points that miss the forest for the trees and are irrelevant to the question at hand: Trump chose to build a ballroom instead of funding programs that would feed those kids.
GOV. WHITMER: “.. no one is worried about building a ballroom in Washington, D.C. What they want is to make sure that they can feed their kids next week.” Most Americans are “never going to step foot in a ballroom over the course of their lifetime.”

My guess is that the 0.66m isn't a constant rate but the average of inconsistent growth periods, with those possibly slowing over time.

I understand why they had to stop him but I don’t agree with imprisoning him in the phantom zone

our purely arbitrary betrayal of Canada is one of the things which makes me angriest about Trump II

A friend of mine in Chicago just shared a video on IG of an ICE operation near her house. The operation happened just minutes before the neighborhood Halloween parade. ICE used tear gas and multiple parents had to wash their kids' (including toddlers) eyes out.

The most important thing here is that the president is unilaterally raising taxes on you because he got mad at his TV

they say stuff like this and you realize, they believe women just fine. they just don't care when we're hurt and think men should be allowed to paw at whomever they want without consequence.

well when you put it like this it sounds bad
The richest man on earth owns X.

The second richest man on earth is about to acquire TikTok and his family could soon own both Paramount and Warner Bros.

The third richest man owns Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp.

The fourth richest man owns The Washington Post.

See the problem here?
I'll be interested to look in the Editor at some point and see if they created a full new db system or if they kinda shoehorned the women's game into what was there.
I made myself a bunch of meatballs in red sauce for the sole purpose of making myself a meatball sandwich with burrata, and y'all...it was pretty dang good.
I wonder if that's a weird leftover from the men's side. Like, £1k p/w is nothing in a decent level men's league and seems like a pretty normal negotiation.

Having players ask for 3x what was negotiated is a crazy oversight as bugs go.

This kind of dense, walkable, mixed-use ballroom is illegal to build in most American cities.
i was against Trump tearing down the East Wing until i learned that the ballroom would have 730 units of low-income senior housing

Also this isn’t how elections work. Narratives about candidates are driven by moneyed interests and the narratives drive people’s votes. Big Ag turning on Orange Shitler is a mark of him losing elite support, and losing elite support is the simplest path to him going away.
yea losing voters by less is important?
Truly a hero for the people.
It's kinda like how every Coke variant is worse than the original. You make a perfect thing and it's impossible to improve it.
That channel has 580k subs, by the way.
It's genuinely driven both hardcore NIMBYism and Elon Musk's whole megalomania arc.

Being able to acknowledge when someone is doing the former and oppose when they're doing the latter, rather than having to make it all one thing or all the other would've saved us from so much shit.
The conflation of making money from providing vital goods and services with making money by manipulation and rent seeking—in both the positive and negative sense—might actually be the defining economic issue of our time.
People becoming rich off building affordable housing are creating affordable housing.
Voting to ease regulations for more affordable housing is NOT the answer, and is not effective. What we should be aiming for are ways to take the million dollar profit off the table. Anyone becoming rich on “affordable housing” is not creating affordable housing. It’s an oxymoron.

The thing is journalists should constantly be thinking deeply and carefully about their word choices, especially dehumanizing language, and questioning why they use what they use and who benefits from it. The arrogance from the reporter is frankly embarrassing.

I wonder how well correlated having negative comprehension of sarcasm, metaphor, or tone in text is with the inability to picture objects and not having an internal monologue.

Serious question: if Trump was trying to engineer a French Revolution, how would he be acting differently?
“.. perhaps the most cruel and unlawful offense the Trump administration has perpetrated yet — freezing funding already enacted into law to feed hungry Americans while he shovels tens of billions of dollars .. to Argentina and into his ballroom.”
