ICE agents blocked ambulance from transferring an injured protester to the hospital, even going as far as to threaten to arrest and shoot the driver.

This crosses so many lines.

EMS and first responders need to be free to help whoever needs it.

Delays cost lives.

A mom in Houston reported her 15-year-old son with autism missing. She spent 6 days terrified, searching for him. The whole time, Houston police knew exactly where he was since they helped ICE place him in a refugee facility.

This is beyond cruel.

The problem with left-leaning media is they're intrinsically more strict with their propaganda to only using verifiable sources so it's really hard to poke holes in their ideology and arguments in comparison to a lot of low quality rightwing content.
That makes attacking their points with fact checkers not very effective unless the fact checkers use misinformation tactics as well.
In essence people on the right have to work harder and more creatively to push their agendas as statistics and studies frustratingly arent usually on our side.

NEW: There’s a disaster unfolding in Alaska right now. And no major network is covering it.

The remnants of Typhoon Halong battered western Alaska overnight. Homes, with people in them, have literally been swept into the Bering Strait.

At least 20 are missing. No comment from any federal agency.

Evangelicalism evolved to justify chattel slavery theologically. That’s its whole thing, rationalizing atrocities when it’s in the adherents’ interest to do so.

But they still believe God exists, Christ is Lord, etc. etc. Their church practice falls well within historical traditions.

Not all heretical Christians, but, yes. Their heresy is their support for those things— or rather, that support is a symptom of their heresy, which is:

1. Heavenly salvation is all that matters

2. The fallen world is vile

3. Being “born again” means their own vileness is “covered”

Attacks on the federal workforce are also attacks on Black workers, who are overrepresented in the public sector.

Black unemployment is 7.5%. I'm reminded of Coates' observation that Black Americans regularly experience conditions that would be considered a crisis if whites faced them.

Shout out to the Naked Bikeride who today ran hundreds of naked people directly through the line of federal officers and effectively blocked them from assaulting demonstrators. Being naked on a bike goes on the list of effective tactics if you get at least 500 of them and the city loves you.
