I'm 41, was taught to read using phonics, and did this for a lot of words growing up. But that was because I read a lot and English has exceptions for phonetic pronunciation out the wazoo. It can happen with either method.

I did notice there are 2 Department of Education accounts on the list. One is posting anti-Dem propaganda, the other is posting what I would consider "normal" government content. I still blocked them both.

It's very similar for me. Finding out who he really is felt like a personal betrayal, even if I know it wasn't. He had so many of us fooled, between that and what he did, I could never forgive him. He can go find a rock to hide under forever. May he receive what he deserves.
