not to be confused with the time in I think 2002 that the airline tried to revoke my boarding pass at the gate bc they had overbooked, even tho I had checked in timely. …if they’d been successful, I would’ve missed and therefore failed an exam worth like 1/4 my grade the following morning.

Not really. The airline straight up cancelled my evening flight out of JAX in 2004, & refused to offer any kind of voucher, so I had to drive 2 hrs back home, then wake up at 3:00 AM to drive back to JAX for the 7:00 AM flight that I specifically DID NOT initially book.

To get a Tdap earlier, tell the doctor or pharmacist you were working outside, in dirt, something sharp that you couldn't find punctured your skin, and the wound healed over almost immediately but you want to update your Tdap just in case.

For personal protection against contracting pertussis, not firebreak purposes on the population level, you should get the Tdap (not the Td) booster every 5 years, not every 10.

ObPeriodicReminder: If you were born before 1982 and don't have conclusive, *documented* proof of getting 2 doses of MMR, get another dose unless it's counterindicated. The second dose wasn't added to the schedule until later and a lot of us never got the catchup dose.

Between this & Kennedy talking about breaking it up into separate vaccines thus providing opportunities for missed inoculations &, thus, increased infections, public health policy is not looking great, for the foreseeable

South Carolina schools recently sent home unvaccinated kids to stem a growing measles outbreak. It turned out 5 of them were infected and, if they'd been at school, could've unwittingly spread it to their classmates for days.

That kind of precaution is now illegal in Idaho.

pro tip (from bestie whose mom planned galas for nonprofits) - salads on the tables before the guests sit down. that way everyone gets snax ASAP. i did this for my wedding reception, and this also gave more time for dancing.

also not ruling out an additional set of TMS, a very specific SSRI that might NOT put me to sleep, Yet Another SNRI (allegedly more refined and w/ way less side effects than other i've tried). Also will start amino acid supplements for ADHD.

anyway i'm swapping out meds and seeing what happens, since Wellbutrin stopped working / too many shitty generics and/or weird side effects. trying out a diff version of bupropion that's obscenely expensive (Aplenzin) but hey there's a copay card thru the manufacturer that didn't ask for income?
