The is no going back to “normal” for them. They are now living in a rubble ridden hellscape while the western world moves on, pretending it didn’t fund and approve this.

Masking at ublic transit, hospitals, pharmacies, and the grocery store would be absolutely fantastic for public health tbh.

Improved ventilation could mitigate the need for even that much but at this rate, we will never know for sure.

yeah, i think a commitment to public health obligates you to get vaccinated and, when you are sick, do what you can to avoid spreading that to other people. the demand that one mask at all times in public spaces is, i think, unreasonable.

I'm sure there's something I could have asked for, but I was not prepared!

If measles hits Alaska we will most likely see it first in the home school community before public schools.

It won't take long to get into our public schools because the Interior (including Fairbanks) has a very low rate of vaccination for Kindergartners (ages 5-6) of 57%.
