I watch yaoi from a serious perspective. I feel like someone in a fine art museum when consuming my yaoi. Like ah yes, how would I interpret this yaoi given my yuri perspective?
I'm not into men so I don't have the same connection to #HeatedRivalry as some other viewers, but I do appreciate it for it's depth and its ability to portray the universal homosexual feeling of being down atrocious.
