I also like that Storm's hair was kept long and Marvel did not go back to the mohawk. No disrespect to mohawks or the beautiful "Halle Berry" cut, but black women are often derided for the erroneous belief that we cannot grow our hair long. Something McDuffie touched upon.

NEW: There’s a disaster unfolding in Alaska right now. And no major network is covering it.

The remnants of Typhoon Halong battered western Alaska overnight. Homes, with people in them, have literally been swept into the Bering Strait.

At least 20 are missing. No comment from any federal agency.

The harvest. Jfc that is really where it’s at. This is legit MY SEASON. Everything I love is in right now. Nuts, apples, pears, figs, cranberries, pomegranates. Meats and cheeses are being smoked.

We pointed out that FDA & other regulators tend, in fact, to be cautious about disclosure of private trade secrets, and we argued that accepting Vanda's view of the law could harm regulation and the American public by unduly restricting regulatory agencies' communications.

"Alienage," not citizenship.
"Removability," not legal rights.
And "handed" to ICE like they daintily passed a cup of tea, not grabbed and hauled off.
