Just this week: Colleges are not signing his "compact"; journalists were not signing his Defense Department gag rules. We can't know, but odds are that would be very different if he was at 55% approval.

Most people don't like bigots and Nazi-lovers, but they also don't pay much attention to politics and are not inclined to believe stuff like this. So seeing hard evidence matters.

This is why I think the next Democratic president needs to use the EXACT tools that SCOTUS has handed Trump. Don't leave room for any distinctions.

Impound funds for deportation. Give ICE the USAID treatment. Refuse to collect government-backed debt. Purge MAGA loyalists from the executive branch.

What the Democratic party did in 2012 was attempt to win an election. At no point did anyone in the major mainstream media or Democratic party compare Mitt Romney to Hitler.
