In the mid-term it's going to depend largely on the next General Election I think. But Labour are definitely starting to wobble a bit on the bad fascist tribute act - I expected the guidance to have been laid by now

The current impasse over the ehrc guidance can not continue indefinitely and can only end in three ways that i can see:

1. A complete rejection of the ehrc guidance and an amendment to the equality act. Unlikely

2. A refusal to implement the guidance and a redrafting of a less onerous one. Likely

This is both so much fun and completely absurd. The Information Commissioner has upheld the confidentiality of the contracts that established the Cass Review.

I will be seeking legal advice. I might actually need to crowdfund for legal costs this time. This is so getting out of hand.
