And it's *incredibly subtle*. Like, a food channel will talk about avoiding chemicals *they put in*,

I've implemented this at all of my workplaces, and yes the data is beginning to show real effects. We don't have a control sample, so it's hard to say it's conclusive. But the mechanism is very obvious, so we are sticking to it.

California just banned employers from forcing workers to pay a debt, fee, or penalty to leave their job.

Bosses have increasingly been trapping workers with debts incurred in training and other exploitative fees.
