And if we all just stopped buying from Amazon? It’s not that difficult and frankly, the ecological and social dumping price we pay for a the supposed ‘convenience’ of buying anything from anywhere from our sofa is not worth it

For more information about the Friday night massacre at CDC, I wrote up an analysis of who got terminated and what that means for public health.

Grateful to @saveamericamvmt.bsky.social for supporting and amplifying. We are in really terrible trouble.

I don’t know who needs to hear this but the CDC is being eviscerated right now. America is not going to have any kind of outbreak response capacity after tonight. Americans’ health data is no longer secure. Say goodbye to federal public health in any capacity. It’s a disaster. We won’t recover.

This isn't a "why can't we all get along" kumbaya moment. Its a moment to understand all the ways in which the people who created OpenAI, Anthropic etc claiming that their machine god will bring utopia, are the actual "existential risks" to humanity.

This is what Dems are drawing attention to and want fixed. Now, not later.

😔 THE WEST IS LOST 😔

A new essay argues the West's foundational belief in perpetual progress is collapsing. It is being replaced by a pervasive, multi-faceted experience of loss that is reshaping our politics and our future.

Thousands of civilians killed.
Food, water, and aid weaponised.
Gaza reduced to rubble.
These are red lines, which the Israeli gvmt continues to cross.
The UK gvmt must take action now to avoid complicity in these atrocities. SHARE to amplify. #RedLineForGaza
