I have just recently embraced the fact that I have always been (still am?) a swamp witch, and not a prairie witch as I so often declared from the swamp in which I used to live. I aspire to be a mountain witch, so that's where I am now, but I suspect I'll end up a bog witch.

It’s hard to convey just how much Chicagoans are mobilizing against ICE. Don’t want to downplay the harm, or make it seem like a fair fight. But in neighborhoods across this city, ICE is getting chased by people blowing whistles and shouting. People are running TOWARD ICE to protect their neighbors.

She worked as a receptionist at a plastic surgeons office- turns out the plastic surgeon wasn't licensed and he and she were arrested, so they used that as reason for deportation. Are administrative assistants supposed to run background checks and licensure verification on their employers?
