Many of these #NoKings marches will have sound permits & approved routes, etc. Sometimes folks say that means they're not protests; they're rallies. That may be accurate - & it's also fine, imo! These particular events aren't about civil disobedience; they're about showing MASS DISAPPROVAL of Trump.

You can’t burn your bridges with people who are committed to racism. The bridges never existed in the first place. That’s hard to understand for people who don’t have to navigate at least one situation a week where they or their loved ones are treated as subhuman. But it’s true.

We’ve lost Drew Struzan. A modern master, who by all accounts was a humble, sweet, loving, dedicated man. His work influenced culture itself, & we’ll be seeing that influence until the end of the modern world. What a legacy. What a body of work. May he rest well, & may his memory be a blessing.
