an intro image for S. Jean Ronove. The background is a mostly transparent galaxy with S. Jean Ronove written in the center of a pale yellow circle with stars around it. In the lower right corner is Morgan from Hymn of Memory, sitting at profile staring up. There are sunflowers around him. In the lower left corner is text that reads: "writer / artist / game dev"

I've talked about it a lot on stream but making the announcement here!!! Saturday, October 18th at 12pm EDT (16:00GMT/9am PDT) I will be holding my annual charity stream! This year will be going towards Trans Lifeline ❤️ I know it's a tough year for a lot of people so lets see what we can raise ❤️
A graphic with the title "Luna's Annual Charity Stream". The details are in a dark purple multi-sided shape stating a start time at 12pm EDT on October 18th, DnD, Various games and more are to be played, a reveal of the 3D goff (goth) moff (moth) model. There are also a couple, but not all, donation incentives listed with a $750 goal for pushing the stream to be as close to 24 hours long as possible and a $2000 incentive to attempt the Weird Route of Deltarune on stream. The Trans Lifeline logo is at the bottom of the graphic indicating that's the charity that is being benefited by the stream. The background of the image is art done by @khemorrhoids.bsky.social and is of the goth moth fae design lounging on a window seat by a window reading a book. The outside of the window is a moonlit scene and a colorful large moth rests on the fae's head.

Howdy!

I'm Whiskey; artist, writer, wrangler. ❤️💜💙

My main focuses are #DnD character design and gamedev illustration for visual novels.

I'm pretty quiet on bsky, but I'm making an effort to post more. #PortfolioDay feels like a good opportunity to put myself back out there.

THE LORD OF THE WOOD releases in July 2026, from @hanoversquarepress.bsky.social! #author

preorder now: gatheringvolumes.com/item/44euZQq...
the cover of E.M. Anderson's The Lord of the Wood, framed in gold with gold flowers against a dark teal background around the edges. The cover is teal with a stag of flowers and foliage growing from a twisted tree with flowers growing around it and black ooze dripping from a branch overhead. the title "The Lord of the Wood" is in large white serif text to the left, with foliage growing through the letters closest to the tree, and the author "E.M. Anderson" is in all-caps yellow text at the bottom. the tagline, in smaller yellow text, reads, "Even a beastly woodland protector needs saving..." "When lonely clockmaker Arthur Throckmorton loses his way in an enchanted forest, he meets the hero of his childhood bedtime stories: the Lord of the Wood. But instead of the mythical figure of his dreams, the Lord of the Wood is a grim man turning into a beast and losing power over a dying forest. If they can’t save the forest before he becomes a beast completely, Arthur will lose the man he's falling for—and never see his family again." Text is in a textbox against a murky image of a forest, with the cover of E.M. Anderson's The Lord of the Wood below the text, all against a dark teal background with gold curlicues in the corners. The cover of E.M. Anderson's The Lord of the Wood on a dark teal background with golden leaves overhead, surrounded by yellow text reading: plant magic; sentient forest trying to oops! murder people; intensely homoerotic shaving scene; the one who heard the stories and the one who was in the stories; hopeless romantic who's clueless about his own sexuality; Beauty & the Beast inspired by not a retelling; dual-POV brother/sister; love interest turning slowly into a beast; wound-tending.

Normally, I'm bad at comps, but I read two books recently that gave me The Devil in the Woods vibes!

If you liked A Feast for the Eyes by Alex Crespo & Rules for Vanishing by Kate Alice Marshall, then you might like The Devil in the Woods!! 🕯️

An illustration of a person from the chin down. They have both their arms around black wolves, which are asleep and cuddled against the person. Two more wolves are asleep and piled on top. The person and the animals are all smeared and smattered with blood, indicating they had a great meal together. A man curled over onto his elbows, his head in his hands, amidst green leaves. A glowing, luminous dagger dangles above his neck and spine. His hands are cupped and outstretched towards the sky. Luminous liquid slips through his fingers. A small child holding a bunny rabbit stuffed animal standing in front of a line of darkened forest. Inside the forest are lots of glowing sets of eyes An oil painting of a foggy, monochrome forest with a singular man with glowing eyes standing in front of it. Before him are multiple shadows of wolves, their eyes glowing in the darkness as well.

Book review graphic- background of grey wispy clouds across pinky orange sky, text of BOOK REVIEW in glowing text at the top, the book cover in a white frame and review text of 'how much did I love this book? Let's just say I didn't want it to end. It was dark and brooding but also sweet and at the same time 10/10 5 ☆s'

20/24 THE FINAL CHAPTERS I'm so excited to be here again!! I have nothing much to say except that Ambrose goes through A LOT in these last chapters. Poor guy needs a nap for a year.
earlronove.bsky.social
19/24 for cottagecore curse! I love this chapter a lot. It's the one I have the most vivid imagery of in my head, so I hope that translate well to the page. I think this is also the last long chapter, and the rest are fast-paced and short (I checked and I am correct). So close!!
earlronove.bsky.social
18/24! This was basically the calm before the storm chapter and it's all "things are going to happen" from here. I'm not sure if I've addressed everything in my edit letter to myself, but this is why it's getting another round of pen edits when I'm done...

17/24 chapters edited for cottagecore curse! This one also needed a little bit of adding to bc of something I replaced (this might need another round of betas when I'm done...). Just not going to look at the wordcount... it's a little brick.

OK too sleepy to write today, so drawing instead! I won't be showing it off for a bit, but you should check out Errant Wing's portraits! I still really like them!

(Errant Wings is out now if you want an autumn coming of age story feat angel and devil wings! books.earlronove.com/errantwings)
Character portraits of the main characters from Errant Wings. They are lined up against a wall that's been graffitied with the book's title and paint. From left to right is Raum with his plaid and black vest, his biker jeans and boots, and tattoos up and down his arms, and brown bat wings. In the center is Asher with his black tanktop, tattoos across his arms, ripped jeans, and white angel wings.
