Virginia under Youngkin returned to an insanely harsh system where people convicted of any felony lose their voting rights FOR LIFE.

Dems' win this week mean they'll get to advance a constitutional amendment to end lifetime disenfranchisement.

Remember, if you accidentally misgender or deadname someone, it's very easy to just say "Shit, sorry," and then say the correct name or pronoun.

The two important follow-ups are to not rend your garments and make it all about you and to then also make sure you work hard on not doing it again.

I've met so many people in my ministry who tell me they don't get help sooner because they know that most of the places they'll go will be sliding pamphlets into their bags and making them go to Bible study before they can be fed. I've also had volunteers ask if they have to be Christian to help!

I'm not a poli sci nerd. I've just been trained in pastoral care and worked for years in retail and customer service. The last thing you do with an upset customer is tell them they actually are doing really well when they obviously are not.
