At a haunted house on Halloween I overheard a little boy with a high-pitched voice very politely point to a poster and ask, “Excuse me, is this AI slop?”

i hate that AI has now caused me to question the authenticity of cute animal videos online, which is my primary use of social media. i don't even know if this baby penguin actually wore a beret to go buy a tiny baguette in paris

Recently I’ve been combing through newspapers from a hundred years ago, and in the spirit of the season (and in the spirit of procrastination) I’ve assembled a little gallery of Halloween advertisements from 1925 on my site: dansinker.com/posts/202…
Really excited for this. If their fantastic museum-of-a-website is anything to go by, this package will be worth it for the behind-the-scenes material alone

quick question if a fancy restaurant has a "corkage fee" they can't charge it if the wine doesnt have a cork right? asking for no reason
Well this certainly explains a lot. Love seeing a company spend years building up goodwill and setting itself up for long-term success then utterly destroying all that progress with unrealistic, short-sighted business goals made by idiot executives.

This chase for profit has led Xbox to raise prices, cut thousands of jobs, and rethink everything.

Running for office and revealing a giant back tattoo that just says WOMEN. Nobody can agree if it's good or bad
If you still need people, I power washed my patio after playing the game and had some thoughts
The post has been deleted, what was it? So curious
What do you think about the game overall so far? I thought the original was okay but sort of disappointing, but I thought Impossible Lair was a good bit better, so I’ve been hopeful maybe they’ve honed their craft and this remake might be better

this rocks. when indiana edu killed the student newspaper, Purdue stepped up, printed the forbidden issue, drove it to Bloomington and stocked the boxes.
I agree that that example makes no sense, but on the flip side, I do think a great show can be better overall than the exact average of every episode

Learned that an anonymous outside expert on submersibles did an interview with the OceanGate Titan investigation, and they released a transcript, with all the names redacted. The first line of his first answer? "I'm sure you're familiar with my film Titanic."

the peanut inside the peanut m&m mascot should be it’s own voiced character. his only goal is to “get out” of the living shell. he does so by speaking through the m&m, trying to convince the other candies to break him out, killing his host
