Deeply grateful to @jjbker.bsky.social for taking it on, and to Sareena Kamath for acquiring it for Saga. Excited to take this novel outside India!

It’s an honour and an exciting challenge to take on this role; and was a great privilege to learn the ropes under the mentorship of Pete Sutton, who we wish the very best.

Reminder, now the world has been reduced to ‘content’ being fed into make-believe machines run by billionaires, books are gold dust when compared to all other ‘content’. If only book publishing positioned themselves as that and believed in themselves.

Next up for #drawtober is spellbound princess!
This has got several loving references to one of my all time favourite illustrators, Harry Clarke, and also Sergio Toppi.
I’ve included some process photos - the final work is in pen and ink on paper, but the planning sketch was digital.
See it at WFC!

THREAD. When my parents' cat Bridget went missing, my dad, to try to ease his worry, painted her on a variety of historical adventures. These soon multiplied. Significantly.

After much nagging, he has had some postcards printed of this brilliant series:

Anyone need a good proofreader or queer sensitivity reader? A friend of mine is going through a rough time at the moment and could do with some paid work. She has loads of experience with editing & proofreading, and I've paid her to do sensitivity reads for me in the past. DM me if interested.
