The Assemby series. In a world where vampires and humans live side-by-side, Miles and his dog, Church make sure that both sides behave.
Tarantino has made some great films, but he’s the last person who should be criticising anyone else’s acting.

“I would have followed you, my brother... My captain... My king.”
Seen this film dozens of times and that still breaks my heart.

It’s time for the annual rewatch of my favourite movie trilogy.

The next World Cup can piss off with their “half time show” bullshit. Unless they can fit it into the 15 minutes for halftime, just do it at the end of the match.

Came downstairs this morning to the sounds of Aerith's Theme on Classic FM. It’s a piece of music which takes me back to when I first played Final Fantasy 7 all those years ago.
I sat in the kitchen and just listened to it, a smile on my face.

Donald Trump: The UK is in societal collapse.
Me looking around at the societal collapse of the UK: I mean, it's a bit wet and windy here, but I don't think we're quite at the Mad Max level yet.

My doctors surgery have sent me a message via their app to tell me that I can read messages via their app.

My Apple Music albums of the month for 2025:
January to August: my usual music
September/October: K-pop demon hunters November: usual music.
It’s possible I liked that film a bit.

New monitor has arrived. Now to bask in my dual monitor glory.

I have a new monitor coming tomorrow, and I’m genuinely excited about it. Yes, I’m a nerd, but I don’t care. 😂

Sunday LEGO. The Viking village. It’s a large set and a lot of fun.

Absolute Batman is brilliant.

First two episodes of Stranger Things season 5 done. Enjoyable stuff, but anything involving Eleven just isn’t as interesting as the rest of it.

Writing while listening to the RDR2 soundtrack. American Venom is an absolute banger.

MP's would automatically earn points with this country if they cut out the jeering nonsense at Parliament.
We're meant to have respect for these people, try acting like you deserve it.

I've read every single one of these. They are, without exception, awesome.

It's cold, dark and damp outside now. The perfect time to cosy up and start working your way through this collection 👍

Just saw a video on Instagram with a Korean lady saying how to make a quick and easy dish, and she started with the phrase “take your homemade kimchi.”
Me and her have different definitions of “quick and easy.”

Nine Puzzles on Disney Plus is a kdrama about a serial killer who starts killing again after 10 years. Like a lot of kdramas I’ve watched, it manages to be interesting, genuinely unsettling, and pretty funny. Excellent show.

Nobody 2 is fantastic. 90 minutes of ultra violent, comedic insanity.

I don’t have anything witty, clever, or insightful to post about today, so if you could all go ahead and imagine I have, it would help me out. Ta.

The Trump Ukraine “peace” plan is just Neville Chamberlain all over again. And it’ll most likely have the same outcome.

First episode of Splinter Cell finished. Really enjoyed it, but then I’ve been waiting for a new Splinter Cell game for over a decade.

Finished Last Samurai Standing. While the series movies away from the focus on the PTSD of the man character, it becomes about him doing everything he can to keep a child safe from harm, when he couldn’t save his own.
