This is genuinely the funniest shit for trolling him with all the jerseys of teams he doesn't support.
DODGERS MANDATE OF HEAVEN ALERT
I have no idea but I keep getting them too! It’s especially grating as I have a mute tag on the word “fundraiser”, and yet both times this has happened to me, the post in question was an unmuted fundraiser post…

I've said this about writing and art -- the goal was not to replace writers and artists with AI, the result was either:

a) *threaten* to replace them with AI, and use that as leverage to be able to pay them less

b) replace them unsuccessfully and pay them less to fix the shit the AI barfed out
This is sometimes read as "look 'AI' isn't working". But the opposite is true.

_This_ is what "AI" is _for_. Push down labor power, push down wages, make employment more insecure.

guess I need to finally give these books a try
"I knew what he meant, but Sarah didn't seem too."
ARGH asfdhsjkdsalfdskljdakhds
Look I'm usually very forgiving of mispellings. I can't spell "appartement". My browser informs me that I just misspelled "misspelling" right now.

But these are HUMAN errors. Sentences like "he told me too!" which I have been seeing more and more often are SOFTWARE misleading ppl and that SUCKS
Public service announcement:
I don’t ficking CARE what your grammar software says, you absolutely CAN end a sentence with “to”.

Ex:
“I did this for you!”
“I didn’t ask you to!”

Your spellcheck will want to replace that with “too” and it’s WRONG stop letting it do that it is driving me INSANE
It absolutely fucking does not, and the way AI spellcheck fails is *baked in with how the AI functions*. If it sees a word misspelled more frequently in its training data than it sees the correct version, it’ll think the misspelling is the correct version.

And yes, this is a small round white pumpkin shoved (with quite a lot of effort, what a VERY ODD physical sensation) into a carved large orange pumpkin to make an eyeball.
I’ll post a clear daytime pic tomorrow but I’m just so proud of the Childe and my team pumpkin work this year, and it looks SO COOL at night.

I give you…the Jack O’Beholder!
At one point I went on a tangent about how the best thing to support workers and make us a true global power would be to invest in the mail system and also trains

I also told them to become the world leader in protecting artists and making sensible regulations around this shit
I really fucking wish google actually looked up the things I’ve typed and not the thing it wants me to have typed, ngl.

Every time it rephrases what I said I want to tear it apart with my bare hands

2. Let's say we lived in a fantasy world where AI agents worked and could replace people. What is the end game? If no one is employed, you have no customers. You are trying to create a world with no revenue. You fucking dumb assholes

“Fun, clever, sexy and utterly engrossing.”—All About Romance

“I just read a spy thriller, a comedy of manners, an action-adventure joyride, a post-war 20s class novel and a very turbulent romance. They were all fantastic. It’s astounding to me that they were all the same book.”—Samit Basu

I am very sure that every night the Vatican City interns are going home with a backpack full of free sports jerseys
This is a real: Pope Leo XIV was gifted a Buffalo Bills jersey.

The Diocese of Buffalo said Bishop Fisher met with the Pope on Monday to discuss the ongoing bankruptcy filing, among other issues.

Pope Leo was said to have "expressed his gratitude for this symbol of hometown pride." #billsmafia

Youtube has announced that all low-res videos (i.e. older ones) are to be automatically AI upscaled to HD.
Creators can opt-out on a per video basis (but the channel may be long abandoned).

When researching props or behind the scenes, old videos are useful, but not if upscaling produces artefacts.
I’m not gonna spend all my time saying “he gave her a look which she interpreted as being angry” like come on.

I’ll say “he gave her an angry look” and trust my readers to not be confused if later it’s revealed in his own POV that he wasn’t actually angry!

Is that too much to ask… 🫩
I also keep getting told that my MC “seems to know what other characters are feeling” and that I should take more care so that my 3rd POV doesn’t veer into omniscient POV…

But if my MC says this guy gave her a “satisfied smirk”, she doesn’t KNOW he’s feeling satisfied, she is ASSUMING that!
I had this very discussion with a beta reader recently… 🫩 a POV character making a ton of hasty assumptions early on in the book based on zero evidence and then encountering things that contradict those assumptions isn’t “the lore contradicting itself”… it’s just the plot happening…
