Yeah I'm a socialist because socialists are trying to make things better. Retweets =/= endorsements. He/him. Performative male without the milky drinks. This likely won't stop anyone, but don't read everything online, especially social media, as serious?

Sorry I refuse to entertain the complete non-existent world where white people don’t know that countless cultures, including some of their own but certainly diasporic racialized ones, call their mom’s cousin’s friend’s sister they grew up with “cousin” and call close women elders “aunt/auntie”

Among the many layers of despicable irony: the sheriff says the arrest was justified because the activist wouldn't apologize for his post, noting, "What kind of person just says he don't care?"

His post was literally a Donald Trump quote saying we shouldn't care so much about school shootings.

Two things:

1. It's time for the Democratic Party to move on from anyone who isn't an anti-crypto hardliner, and

2. We badly need a Democratic Tea Party, but with its entire focus on viciously uprooting and eliminating corruption everywhere, at every level of government.
Your periodic reminder that there is a bipartisan bill being advanced that will make it exceedingly easy to avoid paying taxes on profits from crypto, and that many Dems support it.
The Trump family’s crypto income is now approaching and could even exceed $1 billion. A big piece of that business came via crypto wallets likely held by foreign investors, a Reuters investigation finds.

Democrats are not required to open the government.

A rules vote in the Senate can create a filibuster exemption for the budget that all 53 Republican senators support. That rules vote only needs 51 votes.

No Democratic votes are needed.

At this point the shutdown is entirely in Republican hands.
Mike Johnson: "Democrats are required to open the government. They keep saying, 'Republicans are in charge of government.' We aren't!"

Man, can’t help but remember them all talking about how they had a “mandate” just a few months ago, now they aren’t even in charge of the government? So weird!

i cannot believe that “mamdani calls a close adult relative an ‘aunt’ even if they are not literally their parent’s sister” is what counts as a “scandal” these days

why, that's a *steal* for the smart piss ball, and I can't wait to find out how much the monthly subscription for the piss-sniffing service costs, and it'll be so useful, and I won't mind the occasional leaking of data on my leaks until the inevitable shutdown day, when my piss ball is sadly bricked

Tyranny. Intolerable.
"According to his running club, the man, who is a U.S. citizen, was returning from a team run when agents pulled him out of his vehicle, tackled him to the ground and kneeled on top of him, allegedly breaking six ribs and causing internal bleeding"

We are in a timeline in which People Magazine is publishing legit hard-hitting news headlines while CBS and CNN publicly humiliate themselves.

I don’t like this timeline. But I’m loving People Magazine right now.

A funny reality check, but still not as funny as coming out with a supposed taxi that's a fucking two-seater.
Tesla's board chair confirmed that the automaker may give the Cybercab a steering wheel after all. It may need to to sell the purpose-built robotaxi in the kind of volumes it hopes to.
'If We Have To': Tesla Cybercab Might Come With A Steering Wheel After All
Tesla board chairwoman Robyn Denholm suggested Tesla may need to equip the Cybercab with a steering wheel to appease federal regulators.

I know other media outlets around the country are running with "diseased monkeys with COVID, herpes and hepatitis are loose in Mississippi!"

And yes, it makes great clickbait. Those posts have thousands of RTs.

But it's just not accurate. Our factual report by @nickjudin.bsky.social:

Im going to start telling people that the sounds my joints make when moving is “just my skeleton settling”
House "settling" noises are the sound of slow and constant inexorable decay but nobody wants to hear that.

Zohran Mamdani caught lying that he understood Plato’s allegory of the cave, yet when asked to explain it, he seemed to instead explain Baudrillard’s theory of Simulacra and Simulation where reality has been replaced by symbols and signs, which seems similar to Plato’s theory but is not the same

If you're looking for used CPUs you can't buy a 13th/14th generation* Intel CPU because they're timebombs. Have they already been ruined? You can't tell from looking. They're flawed components and can't be trusted.

That's Pat Gelsinger's legacy.

*they're the same manufacturing process

Under Gelsinger's watch Intel not only failed to compete with TSMC's fabrication process they also created the first irreparably flawed generation of Intel CPUs that have the potential to degenerate below their operating specification.

Like many fuckups, he only seemed credible due to being a CEO.
