I used to put XFM on in the car sometimes and play The Kasabian Factor, in which I’d count how many songs would be played before one by Kasabian came on. Don’t think I ever reached double figures

I recall in the 90s going to the XFM all dayer, Great Xpectations, almost entirely for The Family Cat and Senseless Things. I went with a friend and at the off he bought some Carter shorts. For the entire day he wore those shorts over his jeans. All day and on the coach back to Lincs. Commitment

I think so! First is two Brits (ended a couple of years ago, second is two Aussies (ended start of this year). Neither cover all the Xfm series but it’s fascinating that a shoddy show from a tinpot local radio station has such a dedicated fan base after all these years…
