As impossible as it is to believe, yes, this American president has gone full nazi. At times it’s intentional nazi theater.

The game claims to focus on the air and maritime component. And, yes, these are decisive in this theater when considering the aspects of force projection. But this fails to account for the similarly critical component of ground combat in a war meant to seize Taiwan.

Picking up a Costco sushi tray and hunting down this nerd at a movie theater will be my goal next trip home 🙏🙏
The cultural phenomenon of movie theaters offering in-seat meals needs to stop. There’s no problem with popcorn, candy, pretzels, and things of that nature but few things ruin a movie theater experience more than someone sitting down next to me with a full meal.

Opened up Vectorworks for the first time in forever.

Super rough WIP just to show where lights/dimmers are located.

I have to measure an entire space from top to bottom lol🙃

Weirdly enough, nothing makes me believe in heterosexual love like musical theater

I am going to guess we out of the blue see every single theater sell out and for some odd reason nobody actually shows up for those screenings. but the admin gets to pretend its a wild success based on BO.

I just checked the 6 and 9 shows on Friday and Saturday at the 3 biggest theaters in my area.

Less than 12 seats sold, combined.

They also seem to be showing it in the smallest theater at the multiplex. The one for events or kids parties.

You can’t imagine how wonderful it was to see it in the theater on opening day. I waited in line with friends for 4 hours
Cat review #37: Star Trek - The Motion Picture. I'd only seen this on a telly sized screen before, and let me tell you this is the biggest upgrade I've seen in a movie since I got the projector. On a big screen it is *gorgeous* and the cats agreed. Finley 7/10, Paiten 6/10.

I could see it not working as well at home, but Long Day’s Journey into Night’s final like hour was truly a transcendent experience in a movie theater.

a few people came out of the theater asking if we were showing Magellan in the correct aspect ratio (its 1.33:1) which is both insulting, but also can’t you see if a film is composed for a particular frame?

It was my penultimate pre-covid theater movie. My last one was Sonic the Hedgehog

A $2 Million Misdirection: How money pollutes the well of American politics
In the grand and tawdry theater of American politics, where principle is so often the first casualty to power, a fresh and expensive farce is unfolding in New Jersey. A lobbying leviathan, armed with a war chest of $39 million, has trained its cannons on a former congressman for the sin of a seven-year-old vote to feed and shelter migrant children.

I checked 3 theaters in Texas, Arkansas and South Dakota.

6 tickets out of over a hundred seats sold.

Some theaters have disabled the seating chart so you can't see how empty the theater are.
